So what did I actually do?

What did I actually change?Did I rewrite the whole series?How did I change the things I did?What new things did I put in?

All good questions......Here's what I did:

I started with book four of "The Saga of Darren Shan" because that's where I think the whole thing starts that later leads on to Mr. Crepsley's death....

In the way-station (that-in Darren Shan's version- is bloodied and broken-coffined but in mine is perfectly normal) they meet Sylvia (Larten and Darren.....no Gavner for me I'm afraid) and Mr.Crepsley starts to like her,but he's a bit suspicious because she seems to know who he is even though they'd never met before....

A week later or so,they reach Vampire Mountain and Larten proposes to Sylvia (shot-gun decision,I know!!)
and she says "yes".....now,just before I continue,I want to make an important point.....in Darren Shan's series,vampires are barren so they can't have children......it's like that in my story as well,except for one thing....Sylvia can bear a vampire's child.....or....as it will later become significant....a vampaneze's.....she is just like Evanna on this one ;)
so after the proposal,the two of them leave The Hall of Welcome and...

Now,Sylvia has some very special abilities and she knows the very next day that she's pregnant,but she decides not to tell Larten,because she wants to know his opinion on the matter of being a father first and also because Darren is told he has to take the Trials,so that's keeping Larten busy for quite a bit of the time....then Darren runs away.....Sylvia tells her husband she's pregnant.....he says they have to find Darren,put him under the care of one of the princes, then the two of them must leave.....

Now,why must they leave???Because,if Sylvia can bear Larten's children,that means she can bear ANY vampire's children and if the residents of Vampire Mountain find out......things might get bad....very bad......so they leave......and go to.....the Cirque Du Freak.....one important point I forgot to mention is that Sylvia has a black panther called Uni that can talk that has been with her since she was 4 and also that Sylvia gave Mr.Crepsley and Darren a quick run-through of her past while they were camped in the way-station.

Sylvia,born on the 12th of June 1989,was brought up at an orphanage,then she ran away at 14 with Uni to find a better life....She worked as an acrobat 'till she was 17,then got her own flat and worked as a chef 'till she was 21......and she didn't say any more than that in the way-station.......

So,the newly-wed couple went to the Cirque and they stayed there until Sylvia gave birth....during their time there,they got in a fight,Larten stormed off,Sylvia followed him and then he told her in a whisper to get behind him,as if there was danger around....then she heard it....

Tick,Tick,Tick......

Mr.Tiny came upon them and nearly fainted when he saw Sylvia's big tummy.....he said he must "make some arrangements" then he vanished into thin air......this troubled them but they chose to forget about it for the time being.......Sylvia gave birth to twins,a boy and a girl,Sabine and Sabina and then they left.....Mr.Crepsley acting suspicious,as if he was hiding something.....
